OUR POLICY
FEE ACKNOWLEDGMENT, PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY
Clinical precepting services through Clinically Minded Precepting are fee-based and calculated per clinical hour, per semester.
FEE STRUCTURE
The following fee schedule applies per academic semester:
$15 per clinical hour for up to 180 clinical hours per semester
$12 per clinical hour for any clinical hours beyond 180 hours per semester
Fees are calculated based on the total number of clinical hours requested and approved.
PAYMENT TERMS
Full payment is due at the time of sign-up in order to reserve clinical placement.
Clinical placement is not confirmed until:
All required documentation is submitted and approved
Any applicable school or affiliation requirements are met
Full payment has been received
Fees compensate for clinical supervision, mentorship, evaluation, administrative
coordination, and reserved clinical capacity. These fees do not constitute employment, wages, or guaranteed academic outcomes.
REFUND POLICY
A full refund may be requested prior to the first day of the academic semester, as defined by the student’s educational institution, not the first scheduled clinical day.
No refunds will be issued once the academic semester has begun, regardless of clinical start date, hours completed, or changes in school requirements.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing and are processed according to established administrative timelines.

120 clinical hours
120 × $15 = $1,800
180 clinical hours
180 × $15 = $2,700
240 clinical hours
180 × $15 = $2,700
60 × $12 = $720
Total: $3,420

NEW YORK–SPECIFIC LEGAL LANGUAGE
GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION (NEW YORK)
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under or related to this Agreement shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located within the State of New York.
EDUCATIONAL SERVICES DISCLAIMER (NEW YORK)
Clinically Minded Precepting provides educational and supervisory services only. Participation in clinical precepting does not constitute employment, independent contracting, or the provision of medical or mental health services to the student. Nothing in this Agreement guarantees academic credit, program approval, graduation, certification, or licensure under New York State or any other jurisdiction.
PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT & COMPLIANCE
Students agree to comply with all applicable New York State laws and regulations, including professional conduct standards, confidentiality requirements, and HIPAA regulations while participating in clinical activities.
